A high-quality micro-porous stain or paint, reapplied every 3–5 years, gives additional UV and moisture protection, keeping the door stable for decades.

The physical hanging usually takes one working day once the structural opening is ready. However, we recommend booking a survey 6–8 weeks ahead of your deadline, as the door is custom-made in our workshop and the finish needs several days to cure before installation.

Yes, we regularly integrate double- or triple-glazed units into solid timber doors. Insulated glass panels can be top-hung, side-lite, or full-length, without compromising the door’s stability. All glazing is fitted with security beads and complies with Document L thermal performance standards.

On rare occasions, clients ask for a raw door to match a special on-site colour; we can do that too, but we advise a factory finish for the best weather protection.
